Qunci Villas in Senggigi is one of those places that quietly wins your heart. It’s serene, beautifully designed, and wrapped in the calmest stretch of ocean. The kind of resort that makes you slow down without even trying.
From the moment you walk in, you feel the softness of the atmosphere. Lush gardens, wooden pathways, and the sound of waves meeting the shore. It’s modern tropical comfort blended so seamlessly with nature that it feels calming just to be there.
The Rooms: Clean, Comfortable, and Thoughtfully Maintained
The rooms are spacious, clean, and consistently well-tended to. Housekeeping keeps everything fresh without being intrusive, which makes the stay feel smooth and easy. A small personal preference. I wish the hand-drawn artwork displayed in the room had been a bit more serene, rather than the colourful faces. A simpler, calmer piece would’ve complemented the peaceful atmosphere of the space even more.

Qunci Villas has three restaurants. Italian, Asian, and Seafood and each comes with its own atmosphere and menu highlights. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find something delicious.
Seafood Restaurant is a Must-Try
This was hands-down the highlight for me.
- The oysters were so fresh we ended up ordering a second round
- Everything tasted like it came straight from the ocean
- Whatever you order, pair it with the mashed potatoes. It’s creamy, flavourful, perfectly seasoned.
- If you like spicy food, don't forget to ask for their sambal trio that works beautifully with any food.
The staff made the whole evening feel special. They’re friendly, attentive, and warm in a genuine way and not forced, just naturally hospitable.

Pools & Sunsets: The Perfect Place to Slow Down
The poolside is where I spent most of my time, and it is dreamy.
It became the perfect spot for my new hobby, crocheting! With the sun on my skin, the view of the sea right in front of me, and the softest breeze passing through. And to make things even better, there was a neighbourhood cat wandering around, which made my days extra happy.

Convenience: Food, Transport, and Local Flavours
One of the great things about Qunci Villas is how accessible and convenient everything still feels despite being such a calm, quiet space. Everything can be checked and booked through their app from restaurant reservations to spa treatments to concierge chat. It made planning effortless.
Grab is available, and we used it to order local Lombok food on days when we wanted something extra spicy and authentically local. Lombok cuisine is incredible! bold, fiery, flavourful and having the option to order it directly to the villa was amazing.
The Spa: Calm, Restful, and Rejuvenating
The spa at Qunci Villas is a lovely way to unwind even further during your stay. The treatment rooms are set in peaceful surroundings, and the therapists really know how to melt away tension in a gentle, attentive way. It’s the kind of experience that leaves you feeling lighter, calmer, and completely relaxed. The perfect addition to slow, restful days by the pool.
Whether you’re choosing a massage after a long day in the sun or simply wanting a quiet hour to yourself, the spa adds a beautiful layer of tranquillity to the entire Qunci experience.
Events: Something Different Each Night
Our goal for this trip was simply to relax and take things slow, but it was nice knowing the resort had different themed evenings and activities throughout the week. During our stay, there was a BBQ night and a sushi night with live music, and there were definitely more events lined up for the rest of the week as well. The sound of the waves, warm sea breeze, and plates of prawns with mashed potatoes… honestly, unforgettable.
Qunci Villas is one of those places where the resort itself becomes the destination.
